Terms of Service | Vestra Discovery

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Vestra Discovery ("the Service"), operated by Vestra AI ehf., you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Vestra Discovery is a platform that allows developers to publish and discover Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. The Service provides tools for creating discovery.xml files and indexing MCP servers for discoverability by AI agents.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service, including server descriptions, images, and metadata. By submitting content, you grant Vestra AI ehf. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

You represent and warrant that you have the right to submit all content and that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
Use the Service to distribute malware or harmful content
Abuse rate limits or attempt to overload the Service
Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

6. Indexing and Removal

Servers are indexed based on the discovery.xml file hosted on your server. You can remove your server from our index at any time by removing the discovery.xml file and requesting re-indexing.

We reserve the right to remove any server from our index at our sole discretion, including for violations of these terms.

7. Rate Limits

The Service implements rate limits to ensure fair usage. Currently, indexing requests are limited to 5 per hour per IP address, and each server may have a maximum of 20 tools indexed.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VESTRA AI EHF. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
